Since joining in February I have seen tremendous changes.  I started doing classes with Lisa at lunch and occasionally in the evening.  Over the past 7 months now, I have lost 35 lbs and have lost 5 inches around my waistline!  While that is great, and I certainly love the way I look, it is the way I feel that I love the most.  I have so much more energy.  I used to hate having to get up early, although you do it for work and it is what you do, but now I find that once I am up, I am up and ready to tackle the day.
I have seen muscle structure come back that I have not seen since college, and to be honest I am probably close to being in better shape than what I was come my Junior/Senior year of college.  In addition, with the classes I am taking, I am feeling and seeing development in muscles I did not even know I had! You don’t fully realize it at the time, but once you start to see improvements, your outlook on yourself changes.  You develop some self confidence that you didn’t know you were missing.  So while the exercise produces some results you are expecting and hoping for, there are so many benefits that you were not even considering.
Lisa has been great, working with me and making time to help me along the way.  She is there to push me to the next level and is available to help you past those plateaus that you inevitably hit when you are working out on your own. Having this gym and these classes available right in the building and Lisa available when you need her has made all the difference.  I am excited to see where I can go over the next 7 months.
